Swift’s rare private glimpse

Mum, dad cramp Tay Tay’s style

Taylor Swift not only hit the Vegas strip with star NFL boyfriend Travis Kelce and friends to celebrate the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory – but took her parents along too.

And in a rare glimpse into her private life, the superstar posted a hilarious video to her TikTok account saying: “Accidentally going clubbing with your parents is something everyone should try at least once in their life.”

Swift brought along her bemused parents Scott and Andrea for part of the fun.

They could be seen in the clip sipping drinks and making funny faces at Zouk nightclub at Resorts World in Las Vegas.

Swift also recorded Kelce, who crossed right in front of her as she filmed the footage.

As she panned across the packed dance floor, she added the caption: “It’s a friends and family party they said.”

Swift’s TikTok video has had more than 22 million views – marking the first time she has personally acknowledged Kelce on her official social media accounts.

It was a fitting ending to Chiefs Kingdom’s fairytale season, given Swift and Kelce’s love story has dominated headlines and games.

Swift starts the first of her seven sold out Australian concerts in Melbourne on Friday.

With more than 100,000 people attending the three MCG concerts this weekend, crowd safety authorities have warned Swifties to be aware of the dangers of big gigs, including dehydration and heat stroke at her Australian concerts, after the tragic death of a 23-year-old fan at an Eras Tour concert in Brazil last year.

UNSW crowd behavioural expert Dr Milad Haghani said venues and promoters had to post constant advice to fans about the potential health risks of densely packed crowds particularly in hot weather.

Dr Haghani, who will be analysing the behaviour of the crowds at Melbourne, said it was imperative to remind concertgoers of the dangers, as many may queue for eight hours before they even get inside the gates.

“Education should include information on how to recognise and respond to health emergencies, such as heat stroke or dehydration, which are common in large, densely packed crowds, especially in hot weather,” he said.

“I strongly advise all event organisers to put out such information on a wide range of channels, including social media and screens at the event itself, to help promote that safety culture.”

The MCG and the Accor Stadium in Sydney allow water to be brought into the stadium in soft plastic bottles.

There are numerous bubblers for free refills located throughout the venues.
