Now that the media got rid of our premier they have turned vile on the police commissioner. Stop this persecution of our top brass.

Another one bites the dust. The crime scene needs a strong deterrent. Jim Keogh needs to be brought back. The compulsory retirement age denies us his expertise and experience in crisis. The justice system is the problem and at least he will voice a strong opinion for solution. Roger B

This blame game going on over youth crime, it’s pathetic. It’s not they need more “laws”, they need to use the ones in place. Public need to lock their cars and homes up, stop making it easy for kids to burgle homes and steal cars. The public are part to blame rather than the police, they’re run off their feet chasing your cars.

G-strings are sometimes referred to as “bum floss”. Ow!

So did we work out if we are banning the G-String or not?? I hope not, would make life at the beach on the weekend a lot less fun.

What does Tom Tate think more accurate and timely weather bureau predictions are going to achieve? It won’t prevent floodwaters rising, make irresponsible people adjust their driving to suit wet and slippery conditions or not drive into floodwaters.

Big man Tate, need to find a way to fix up some of these roadworks on the Coast. Some stinkers that are dragging on too long.

Currently the growth of Gold Coast is being managed by attempting to respond to an influx of new residents by encouraging the building of apartment towers along the coastal strip. The problem with this is the sales and rental prices for such accommodation places them out of reach of the average buyer or renter. In addition, a lot of the units are purchased by interstate and overseas investors who are happy to leave them vacant while capital gains are increasing.

Hey no name Tuesday if you think councillors are not politicians in disguise then think and look again Vern S

So Eddy has no money to run against Tate, reckons he has the volunteers behind him to help out on the day. That’s nice...

I can’t see the point of spending 11 billion on war ships, when our Country is dying from within!! Who knows anything about future, isn’t the Elite planning a ‘One World Government’ ?? So who are we helping here with this money? Not Australians that’s for sure !!!! Asian countries’ productions are sky rocketing while ours being closed, it’s insanity! This Gov is for sure, driving our Ship into the ground, on purpose! Gwen

To RHCP: I totally agree with your text in Tuesday’s paper re the trip to the moon. Why has no one ever gone back there, when we have so much technology now and nothing like it back in the 1960’s?
