Make your commute around the GC more fun by playing Bad Driver Bingo! Keep an eye out for speeding, tail-gating, cutting in, weaving, road rage and general lack of courtesy and see if you can get a full house in one trip!

If you see an energy drink bottle on the side of the road full of ‘apple juice’ you now know how most people relieve themselves on the highways. Daz Tallai

Will there be a conflict of interest if there are 2 Sarroffs in the council chamber? Muck

TT’s suggestion to use Heritage Stadium for the Olympics is only practical if the light rail meets the heavy rail at Nerang and continues into Broadbeach, which is what should have happened in the first place! Coast. Cops don’t want to know. In the know.

What was the real cost of the compulsory Acquisition of the Neumann land at Currumbin? I’m betting it was many times more than the $15m being quoted. The environmental land would have been given back for free without weeds if the acquisition didn’t occur.

The Queensland government owns Cbus Stadium and charges fees for its use. Does the texter who suggests “owning our own stadium for sport and music with no ongoing government fees is a plus” think a boutique stadium can be constructed with ratepayer’s money and used for free or subsidised rates? That would be a financial disaster.

If youth diversionary programs are the answer to youth crime then bucket loads of funds and resources, commensurate with the severity of the situation, need to be directed towards them NOW. And while the government is at it, show us some RESULTS.
