To the goose advocating guardrails along city streets. Have a long hard think about it and inform us just who is going to pay for this delusional thought bubble.

Well taser me! High visibility policing has resulted in lots of arrests. That’s what police used to do before crime got out of control. Now it’s trumpeted as a wonderful new initiative. All they have to do now is to get some high visibility into youth diversion programs.

What a mess around Main Beach with the Lime Bikes, just the pits. And what’s with the clickety clack noises most of the bikes seem to be doing?

I prefer the lime bikes to the other type of bikes with the road hogging lycra wearers. Jim

Can’t believe that all those lime bikes were dumped in a pile like that after the DJ concert on the spit. That is a disgrace and further proof why these things need to be better regulated on the Coast.

I live in surfers paradise and I would like thank Darren Taylor for everything he has done around our area. The upgrade of Neddy Harper and William Duncan park it looks amazing and also the footpath around Cannes avenue and Genoa street well done - it so much safer for the families etc when the go for a walk. Well done

It could be an amazing architectural feature like Brisbane River has. Please do it & it would work so well for concerts & Sunday traffic. I know people that had to walk from the Spit to Surfers Paradise. At the moment it’s an embarrassment. From A local

I just can’t understand how people idolise absolute w ***** s in life when there are so many people doing great things that should be idolised. Kev Helensvale

Do you wonder why Australia can ‘afford’ $360 billion for nuclear submarines, but ‘can’t afford’ to increase the rate of Jobseeker? ajs

Jess, I hope the framed photo in your dining room, is of the greatest Elvis musician, Elvis Costello

They don’t make them like Elvis anymore. Well worth the framed picture of the king.

OMG, The Princess of Wales photoshopped a Mother’s Day picture of her children and herself. It’s the end of the Commonwealth and possibly the world. Johnbrew
