What We’re Loving Right Now
TO LISTEN WTF WITH MARC MARON
American comedian Marc Maron’s long-running podcast is one of the most reliable, with past luminaries such as Barack Obama, Paul McCartney and Brad Pitt dropping in. His recent chat with our very own Ben Mendelsohn is reason enough to seek it out. Ostensibly the Aussie actor is there to talk about his new Apple TV+ show, The New Look, but inevitably goes full Mendo, with highly entertaining diversions about his homeland, projects and love of AC/DC.
TO WATCH ALL TIME
For extreme skiing enthusiasts, the movies of the late, great filmmaker Warren Miller were as exciting as 30cm of fresh snow on a bluesky day. His company’s latest release, All Time, is narrated by US freestyle skier turned TV presenter Jonny Moseley. In addition to the death-defying skiing and boarding tricks and stunning scenery it also looks at the birth of ski towns such as Aspen and Sun Valley and the rise of the original hotdoggers. RuPaul opens up on the formative memories of growing up queer and black in San Diego with an absent father and a volatile mother, and an extraordinary journey to global stardom.

TO DRINK THE BREWER ESB
In celebration of last week’s International Woman’s Day, Melbourne’s CoConspirators Brewing Co and Blackhearts & Sparrows joined forces on a style rarely seen in this country. This extra special bitter (loved by Brits) is a malty delight, with notes of caramel, biscuit, candied fruit and hop bitterness.
