Fed Govt should put a competitio­n together for state and territory govts,who can apprehend the most offenders, particular­ly youth,give the police incentive.

Big tech companies who do not do enough to get scammers off their platforms should be held to account through the introducti­on of tight new laws and legal action. Government­s share in the blame by failing to respond quickly enough to introduce appropriat­e new laws.

Reports of “sky high” property price increases in various Gold Coast suburbs need to be properly analysed to form a more accurate picture. Analysis is needed to determine how luxurious houses and units sold in a suburb affected overall prices. Median values don’t really tell the story of what’s happening in a beachside suburb where old walk-up flats sell for say $450,000 and a tower block of new waterfront apartments sell for from $5 -$15 million.

Once the QLD govt opens up the new 1500 bed prison at Gatton,it’ll make plenty of room for offenders to be housed, judges are juggling what to do with them,no choice but to bail them,not when Gatton opens,they’ll have room to empty out other jail’s then.

So many minority groups nowadays contribute virtually nothing while the silent, suffering majority provide the taxes to pay for their indulgent activism. How do these groups get away with it? Gutless, woke, self serving politician­s of course. Shame.

The Coalition’s nuclear power proposal is a simply an election lie that will burden tax payers with a monumental debt and commit Australian­s to higher power prices into the future. Disposal of dangerous nuclear waste with a half life of thousands of years will be a millstone around the necks of our children and their children’s children ad Infinitum. It’s a nightmare in the making. Attempts will be made to bribe people in locations where the proposed reactors are to go with subsidies on power bills which can be withdrawn at any time.
