Kyoko Nakayoshi Japonica

THERE’S NO denying it: a pair of gloves is an essential accessory during the British spring! This design by Kyoko Nakayoshi is pretty yet cosy, with a cable and bobble pattern - the bobbles are worked using a crochet hook for a quick, neat result. As well as normal gloves, Kyoko has provided instructions for a fingerless version. She has used a bright red yarn from Blue Sky Fibers, called Baby Alpaca. It has a lovely sheen and good stitch definition, and comes in a range of solid and mélange shades.
