The seventh British Wool Show is to be held on 8-9 July in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. It’s a proud supporter of the British wool industry, and aims to promote textile companies and artisans which use our homegrown wool.

There’ll be all kinds of tempting wares for sale in the exhibition hall, particularly a wide range of fleeces and knitting yarns. Check out the yarns from The Doulton Flock (featured on page 30), The Border Mill, Midwinter Yarns, Sheepfold, and many more. You’ll find tools, accessories and gifts, and have the chance to speak to your favourite producers.

A range of workshops is on offer, and there’ll also be entertainment from the ‘Sheep Show Man’ and his dancing sheep! Day tickets cost £7 on the door. www.britishwool.net
