PATTERN NOTES

Work shaping decreases 2 sts in from edges. Diagonal lines are formed across the bust by balanced decreases and yarnovers. When no stitches remain between the armhole edge and the first diagonal line decrease, remove the marker for this decrease and work over these stitches in stocking stitch. Continue to work second diagonal decrease line until again, when no stitches remain between edge of work and decrease, remove marker and work all stitches except Chart B in stocking stitch.

BACK

Using 3.25mm needles, cast on 107 ( 117: 131: 143: 159) sts. Work in 1x1 Rib for 6 ( 6:7: 7: 7) cm, ending after a WS row. Change to 4mm needles. Work in st st until work meas 40 ( 41: 42: 43: 44) cm from cast-on, ending after a WS row.
