Work shap­ing de­creases 2 sts in from edges. Di­ag­o­nal lines are formed across the bust by bal­anced de­creases and yarnovers. When no stitches re­main be­tween the arm­hole edge and the first di­ag­o­nal line de­crease, re­move the marker for this de­crease and work over these stitches in stock­ing stitch. Con­tinue to work sec­ond di­ag­o­nal de­crease line un­til again, when no stitches re­main be­tween edge of work and de­crease, re­move marker and work all stitches ex­cept Chart B in stock­ing stitch.
