Danish designer Vithard Villumsen has been exploring the possibilities of knitting in his new book, Texperimenture. His playful approach has resulted in seven fascinating projects created in unconventional ways - using triangles or pipe shapes as the starting points of a sweater, for example. The unisex designs include a brioche pullover called ‘Striber’, and the versatile ‘Ponchawl’, which can be worn as a shawl, scarf or poncho. Available from www.vithard.dk
