NECKBAND

Using 3.75mm circular needles, with RS facing and starting at top of left shoulder, pick up and knit 24 ( 24: 24: 27: 28: 28: 28: 28: 28) sts down left front neck, K27 ( 27: 29: 29: 31: 33: 33: 35: 35) sts from front st holder, pick up and K24 ( 24: 24: 27: 28: 28: 28: 28: 28) sts up right front neck, K53 ( 53: 55: 57: 61: 65: 65: 67: 67) sts from back st holder. Pm and join to work in the round. 128 ( 128: 132: 140: 148: 154: 154: 158: 158) sts. Work in K1, P1 ribbing until neckband meas 2 cm from picked-up edge. Cast off in rib.

FINISHING

Line up the centre of the sleeve head with the shoulder seam. Sew in sleeves using mattress stitch. Sew sleeve and side seams. Weave in ends and gently block to measuremen­ts, following any yarn care instructio­ns on the ball band.
