PATTERN NOTES

The body is knitted in one piece in rows following the Main Chart: odd-numbered rows are knitted, even-numbered rows are purled. The paler yarn is always the background colour; the motifs are always worked in the darker colour. Carry yarns in the same hand throughout to prevent variations in colour dominance. K1A: Knit 1 with yarn A. P1A: Purl 1 with yarn A. K1B: Knit 1 with yarn B. P1B: Purl 1 with yarn B.
