Summer Rain Shawl

- JEM ARROWSMITH

PATTERN NOTES

The shawl is worked in two pieces. First the body of the shawl is worked top-down from a garter tab, increasing by 4 sts every RS row and 2 sts every WS row. The edging is worked from the bottom up, starting with the beaded border. Yarn B is then introduced to work a garter stitch stripe and the raindrop motif section. Stitch markers are used to mark the repeats in the raindrop motif section, to help keep track of the changing stitch counts. The body and edging pieces are joined using a three-needle cast-off or by grafting the stitches together.
