TWO CONTRASTING textured patterns worked in similar colours give an interesting look to the fabric on Jo Allport’s jumper. The yoked section uses a slip-stitch pattern, while the body and sleeves are knitted in a dense lace lattice stitch. The back, front and sleeves are all knitted separately, then joined to work the yoke.
PATTERN NOTES
An allowance of 1 st around all edges has been included for sewing up.
Decreasing: On a RS row, work SSK at the beginning and K2tog at the end of a row. On a WS row, work P2tog at the beginning and P2tog tbl at the end of a row.
The stitch count of the lace pattern varies between rows. When working decreases and cast-offs, work partial repeats in stocking stitch, making sure pattern and stitch counts are correct, counting after a WS row. Keep 2 sts at each end of row in stocking stitch.
