Using 3.5mm needles, cast on 6 sts.

Work in st st until strip meas 125 ( 130: 135: 140) cm from cast-on edge.

Cast off.

TIE STRIPS MAKING UP

Join shoulders.

Join neckband strips together at top edge and stitch onto back neck edge.

Line up top of sleeves with shoulder seam and ease in sleeves and sew in place.

Join sleeve seams.

Join side seams, leaving a 3cm gap 17cm above hem at the right side edge to pass the tie strip through.

Sew ties to front edges where front neck shaping begins.
