TWO beautiful new display homes are set to grace the grounds of Botanica’s site at Caravonica, bringing the highly anticipated vision for Cairns’s first over-50s lifestyle resort further to life.

Site works have been steadily under way over the past few months and the display homes are now the first chance for future residents to experience a real taste of what Botanica has to offer.

The Jardine Contemporary and Banks Classic designs will showcase the two different facade styles available at Botanica as each home design at the resort is available with the choice of either a contemporary or classic facade.

With strong ties to the Cairns area, the team behind Botanica marked another major milestone this week with the sale of the final lot at one of their landmark projects – Redlynch Valley Estate – with more than 900 families now calling the well-loved community home.

On all of its projects Botanica’s team always makes it a priority to support the local community and industry by engaging local architects, civil contractors, landscapers and builders along with regional suppliers for the resort’s fencing and even the artwork in the display homes.

Site works and home construction continue at Botanica with the first resident slabs now laid and carpenters onsite.

“We will be laying two slabs a week for the foreseeable future to keep up with the rush of demand,” Botanica director Robert Wallace said.

“With our first homes scheduled to be completed before December this year a lucky few residents can look forward to spending their first Christmas in their new Botanica sanctuary.”

Renowned local landscape architect, Andrew Prowse, and Rance Stafford from Queensland Natural Landscaping have also been busy designing and installing the resort’s landscaping and entry statement.

Botanica’s unique approach to downsizing enables residents to enjoy the benefits of living a resort lifestyle in a secure gated community without having to pay exit fees and stamp duty while still being entitled to keep all capital gains.

If eligible, residents may also receive Commonwealth Rent Assistance for a significant portion of their site fees.

Buyers can also take advantage of the $40,000 Botanica Bonus that is currently available, including $30,000 of home incentives plus an extra $10,000 from Botanica.

With Stage 1 of the resort already sold, this offer won’t last long as it is only available for the first 10 buyers in August.

The display homes will be unveiled on Monday, August 10, ready for the first inspections.

With the opening of the new display homes, the current Botanica display suite at the Smithfield Shopping Centre closed on August 5, and a new display suite will open onsite.
