WAIT NEARLY OVER FOR LIFE AT BOTANICA

THE excitement is rising at Botanica as the resort prepares to welcome its very first residents into their new homes just in time for Christmas.

The civil works are now complete, and the finishing touches are being put on the first residents’ homes ready for their new owners to move in on December 10.

This will be a momentous occasion for all involved. For residents, this marks the start of a new chapter of resort style relaxation and entertainment.

For the team at Botanica, it has been the highlight of their year following countless hours of meticulous planning and design.

“It’s fantastic to see our vision for Botanica come to life,” says Robert Wallace, Botanica’s director. “We are excited to be raising the bar for over 50s living in the region and have been blown away by all the positive feedback that we have received from our future residents and the broader community.”

Despite a year of unexpected surprises, Botanica has continued to deliver on its vision and is proud to be investing in the region during this challenging time. Mr Wallace was quick to point out that this wouldn’t have been possible without continued support from their team of local builders, civil contractors, architects, engineers, landscape architects and many other local businesses that have kept the project on track and exceeding expectations.

The consistent demand from buyers, both local and interstate, is also a testament to the quality of this unique over 50s resort.

Having been in the market just over 12 months, the team at Botanica have been overwhelmed by the speed at which Stage 1 sold out, and Stage 2 has followed the same trajectory with only a handful of homes left.

The construction of the swimming pool and pickleball-tennis court are under way, and the construction of the gym, workshop and Botanica House are all commencing in coming months.

The community facilities are at the heart of the resort and will be regularly updated and adapted over the years to cater for residents’ changing interests and hobbies. Features of the Stage 1 facilities include an outdoor pool,

community bar, spa, tennis and pickleball court, residents’ workshop, games room, library, cinema, yoga room and gym. Future residents have had the opportunity to socialise and have a little taste of what Botanica has to offer at regular community events over the past 12 months.

These events, provide residents with an opportunity to not only have a great time but build the relationships that are at the core of a great community.

For the team at Botanica it’s important that their residents feel part of the Botanica family even while awaiting the completion of their new homes.

“We regularly host events for our new residents so that they can start to feel at home even before they move in,” Mr Wallace said.

“That way when they do move in they already have a friendly and familiar community to connect with.”

After previous waterfront luncheons, theatre nights and sunset picnics on the grass, the latest Botanica event was held at the Marlin Coast Bowls Club. A beautiful backdrop for a laid back afternoon of barefoot bowls, a few drinks and plenty of laughs, embodying the true community spirit of Botanica. The Botanica display homes are open seven days a week, located at 1077 Kamerunga Road, Caravonica.
