Tax symposium

A FORMER Federal Commissioner of Taxation will headline a oneday tax research symposium in Cairns on Monday. Michael D’Ascenzo presided over the Australian Taxation Office for seven years and will share his experiences with delegates at the James Cook University-hosted event. Fourteen technical papers will be presented by tax experts from across Australia and New Zealand. The symposium will be held from 8.30am to 4.30pm at DoubleTree by Hilton, 121-123 Esplanade.
