TACKLING FERAL ANIMALS

FARMERS will have a chance to learn about the latest tools and techniques to tackle feral pests at two workshops next month in Mareeba and Ravenshoe on April 11 and April 12. Hosted by AgForce, participants can be trained in chemical handling safety and the use of new baits and tools such as Canid Pest Ejectors (M44 ejectors) with 1080 capsules. Workshops are tailored for producers in sectors including beef, sheep, grain, cane, cotton, horticulture, poultry and pigs.
