HITTING THE TRAIL

-

THE Far North is blessed with dozens of hiking trails. The Red, Blue and Green arrows are ideally situated in Edge Hill. And there are plenty of other accessible trails in the region, including Behana Gorge and Glacier Rock. The most important equipment in a growing passion for hiking is a good pair of shoes and socks, which will support you on more unsturdy ground and help prevent falls. Get in touch with Cairns Bushwalkers Club to find like-minded people and get advice about some of the best hiking trails to be found. WHO TO CONTACT: cairnsbushwalkers@iig.com.au
