Woman shot in home

TWO men have been charged after a 32-year-old woman was shot in the leg and had her arm broken by masked intruders in her semi-rural home in Perth’s north. She was confronted by the two men, who were wearing balaclavas, at her Carabooda house about 11.20pm on Thursday and an altercatio­n ensued. The men left in a car and were arrested a short time later. Two men, aged 22 and 35, have each been charged with assault with intent to rob, burglary, grievous bodily harm and wounding. The woman is being treated for non-life threatenin­g injuries at Royal Perth Hospital.
