IS wannabe ‘weird’

AN ASPIRING Islamic State fighter accused of murdering his first wife took a second wife during his first marriage but she told a court she divorced him after a month because he was “weird” and “paranoid”. The ex-wife made an obvious effort not to look at the alleged killer as she sat in the witness box at his magistrates’ court committal hearing yesterday. The Melbourne man is charged with slaughtering his first wife in front of their three young children and dumping her body in grassland in June last year. The hearing continues Monday.
