VISION FOR THE FUTURE

Q What was your first impression when you arrived at the offices of Endeavour Park? A To come here and have an association facility like I have at my disposal is a huge challenge to manage in the first instance, but it gives us a tremendous amount of scope to do stuff and just looking around the facility there are things we can build on, improve and continue to grow. Q What vision do you have for FNQ Football and how do you plan to implement it? A I’m working with the board on developing a strategic plan and I suppose the four key elements we’ve looked at being able to deliver on are growing the game in term of increasing participation for every club, increasing women’s participation, showing strong leadership and cohesive leadership to make sure all elements of the football community are all talking to each other. They’re all trying to achieve the same aims and communication, so really ramping up what we do with media, social media, so people feel connected to what’s happening on the football field. Women’s football particularly, I see a there’s a huge potential there.
