FIVE YOUNG GUNS TO FIRE FOR CDRL

YOUNG talent is set to breathe fresh life into the CDRL this weekend after the abrupt end to the Northern Pride under18s season. Mal Meninga Cup coach Dave Scott, who also coaches Tully, said players who would be aged out of the side next season had to command a start in A-grade if they harboured goals of making the fulltime Pride under-20s squad next season. Mark Rosendale (Tully) and Sam Kupa-Cummings (Kangaroos) have already played A-grade this season but more are on the horizon to lift the standard of the competition. Here are five young guns Scott expects to fire during the remainder of the CDRL season.
