LNP to reveal choice
THE Liberal National Party is expected to announce its candidate for the Far North electorate of Cook at a meeting on May 6.
The Cairns Post has previously reported former Cook Shire Council deputy mayor Penny Johnson was being considered.
Mareeba Shire Councillor Edward “Nipper” Brown (right) was also in talks with the party about a potential candidacy for the seat.
