Vaccinations urged

-

A MEASLES outbreak in western Sydney has worsened, with another person contracting the virus after receiving only one dose of the vaccine. The patient’s insufficient vaccination status prompted NSW Health, which has now recorded 17 confirmed cases in western Sydney, to call on people in their 20s, 30s and 40s to check they had received the required two doses. “The vaccine is free to people in this age group through GPs,” NSW Health spokeswoman Dr Vicky Sheppeard said yesterday.
