Theatrical performance show Cirque Africa hopes to enthral the little ones with a mix of energetic, colourful acrobats, dancers and musicians.

Tour manager Kimberley Ruddle said the 25 performers from six African countries had already entertained hun- dreds during the show’s first two nights.

“The response is always really good, no one ever leaves disappointed from our shows,” Ms Ruddle said.

“Our show is different in so many ways. We’re not a typical circus, we are more a series of theatrical performances. All of those cultures combined into one is amazing.”

Ms Ruddle said the African drumming routine was one of the highlights of the show.

Cirque Africa is on until July 1 at the Centre of Contemporary Arts on Abbott St.
