Q You mentioned it’s about every corner of North Queensland. You get up to plenty of remote communities. What’s the buzz up there when the Cowboys do well? A You go to every community now and the Cowboys are their favourite team. It used to be Broncos for some of the older ones but the young ones are all Cowboys now and they all know what they did in 2015 and again last year. Way up north the closest team is Cowboys, so it’s good to see. Q What has been the impact of the 2015 premiership up there and can we expect an extra boost if they can get up on Sunday? A It has always been rugby league in those communities. They’ve all got their favourite players like Thurs- ton and Morgan and Taumalolo. It makes our job a lot easier when we do go to communities and talk about football and the importance of school and healthy living and it really drives it home when the Cowboys are doing well, so it’s good to focus on it.
