ROOKIE handy­men look­ing to im­prove their abil­ity with the ham­mer and drill to tackle those home pro­jects can hone their craft at Bun­nings Ware­house this week­end. The spring adult and kids do-it-your­self work­shops will be held at the Port­smith and Smith­field stores on Satur­day and Sun­day. Par­tic­i­pants can also regis­ter for the How To Mulch, Com­post & Cre­ate a Worm Farm work­shops, where they will learn how to pre­pare materials for build­ing and main­tain­ing a worm farm, while un­der­stand­ing its ben­e­fits for a health­ier gar­den. The free work­shops aim to equip wannabe tradies in the Far North with the con­fi­dence to com­plete var­i­ous DIY pro­jects. Work­shops are held be­tween 9.30am and 2pm and are also held at In­n­is­fail and Ather­ton. Kids D.I.Y. Work­shop times vary so please con­tact your lo­cal Bun­nings Ware­house. More ses­sions are planned for next month.
