Drug driving

A MIRRIWINNI man has been slapped with a 24-hour driver’s licence suspension following an alleged positive drug driving result. The 46-year-old was stopped by Cairns Road Policing Unit officers on the Bruce Hwy at Mirriwinni. The relevant samples have been forwarded to a laboratory testing facility for scientific analysis and officers will await those results before making any further enforcement action.
