Jones slams LNP offering
TOURISM Minister Kate Jones has written off the LNP’s tourism plan as a slap in the face to operators eager to get new international flights into Queensland.
“Less than a week after the Palaszczuk Government committed $48 million over three years in additional support for aviation attraction, the LNP (on Wednesday) announced just $2.5 million per year,” she said.
Ms Jones said “the cut would put at risk the growth we are seeing in tourism”.
