Melania copies Aussie as she stuns with outfit

FIRST Lady Melania Trump (left) has turned heads in Beijing wearing a Chinese-inspired floor-length Gucci gown.

She wore it to attend a state dinner with her husband President Donald Trump, hosted by President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan in Beijing.

But it’s not the first time the stunning Gucci frock has been worn on a red carpet.

Aussie actor Margot Robbie sported the outfit from the Italian designer’s fall 2016 collection to the premiere of The Legend of Tarzan in June last year. There are some styling similarities, too: FLOTUS and Robbie both sported sleek side-parted blowouts, soft nude manicures and a single ring on their left hands, New York Post reports.

Mrs Trump later checked out the pandas at the Beijing zoo, before being serenaded in English and Chinese by elementary schoolchildren.

The lavish dinner in Beijing was part of the Trumps’ 12-day tour of Asia.

Mr Trump saluted the “growing friendship” between the US and China as he wrapped up his second and final day of the visit.
