IT’S TIME THIS LITTLE CITY WENT TO MARKET

-

WITH the hot, rainy summer months behind us, it’s the ideal time to get into market mode, whether as a stallholder or a shopper. Some of the region’s biggest markets resume next month. The first Palm Cove markets for the year will be held on April 1, coinciding with Easter Sunday. The Easter Eggstravaganza edition will feature an Easter egg hunt and other competitions and prizes. The Tanks Markets on Collins Avenue also start next month on April 29. Showcasing a blend of local art, craft, produce, vintage clothing and local natural health products, the markets are a relaxing way to spend a Sunday morning. As well as Cairns Regional Council-run markets, there are a variety of other popular markets across the region, from Port Douglas to Mission Beach and out to the Tablelands.
