Q Does this preseason feel a little like your time at the Western Bulldogs where you played a lot of finals footy? A I think it’s hard to compare to the Bulldogs. I can only go by what I’ve experienced. The club has changed so much. There are so many new players and support staff this season too which makes it different to Bulldogs. One thing I can say is every player is fully aware of what their role is and we’ve got a really good balance within the group. Stu has been very clear with the group and everyone knows what’s required of them and that’s really reassuring as a player. Q Are finals a realistic expectation? A We’re obviously trying to get there. There’s no other point to play if you’re not trying to win. I don’t know how much longer I’ll be around but there’s no other feeling like it. Having been here from the start I feel like we’ve worked so hard to establish ourselves it would be great to have that reward.
