“I will never be able to tell him I love him,” Joanne McLelland said.

“My family has been fractured, broken and torn apart.”

Barbara McLelland faced Wells as she said, “You murdered my brother. You took my brother’s life.”

His father Gary said, “Humanity and myself is poorer because of his absence.”

Wells has already spent 737 days in custody.
