Cheeky or too rude? ( CP, 26/07). Front page yesterday had a local breaking the law. Police action pending? No doubt the article is correct, the police appear to be “looking the other way”. As a friend said to me on this matter, “there is no enforcement”. Sad but true, our local police are nowhere to be seen and it’s pretty much free rein for all. Apart from a couple of photos in the CP, haven’t seen one police officer on traffic duty in the CBD this year. As for closer to home, Redlynch, our streets are a fatality waiting to happen.
