THE CRUISE EDITION

-

A PRE-NATAL yoga course will allow expecting Cairns mums to learn about nourishment, rest and connect with their future babies in a supportive environment.

Yoga teacher Jaye Seal will guide you through a yoga course specially tailored to pregnant women.

You are taken through a restorative yoga practice that includes birth preparation postures.

The course uses chant and sound to encourage you to use the voice in birth, and also goes into rest and relaxation.

Ms Seal began teaching yoga in 2004 and developed practices for comfortable pre-natal yoga during her own pregnancy in 2015.

She said it was a tremendous grounding and releasing practice that assisted her in preparation for her home birth.

She recently completed pre-natal and post-natal yoga teaching training, and is now using these classes to share her passion with other women.

The Baby Moon Workshop will be held next Saturday, November 23 at Wild Heart Tribe Yoga, 132 Collins Ave, Edge Hill.

It runs from 12pm to 2pm.
