Advocate to speak at Ararat

Renowned social-justice advocate Reverend Tim Costello will be guest speaker at a gathering at Ararat Uniting Church Hall in Barkly Street on April 6.

Rev Costello, who for 13 years was World Vision Australia chief executive and is also an authority on community and social leadership and ethics, will speak from 7.30pm.

Rev Costello is now World Vision’s Chief Ad- vocate and continues to use his public profile to influence social change.

His latest book Faith, published late last year, will be on sale at the event.

People who attend will be able to make donations to World Vision.

People are already planning to travel from across western Victoria to attend the event.
