Wine and savoury night in Stawell

People with a taste for wine and savouries will get their chance to experience both at Stawell Hospital Auxiliary’s first community money-raiser for the year on Friday night.

The auxiliary will present a Wine and Savoury Evening at Stawell Entertainment Centre from 6.30pm as part of a project to raise money for a new oncology chair at Stawell Hospital’s Simpson Ward.

The chair has a price tag of between $5000 and $6000, but the cost of the evening for patrons is $20, which includes savoury food.

The evening has a reputation as a major social gathering.
