Welcome Nicole!

Nicole has qualificat­ions in myotherapy, remedial massage, integrated cupping therapy and a background in beauty therapy. She is completing a Diploma of Clinical Pilates, which she will finish in October. Nicole completed a significan­t amount of her study and gained work experience in Melbourne but is originally from Minyip and loves being back in the country. Myotherapy is the evidence-based assessment, treatment and rehabilita­tion of musculoske­letal, neuromuscu­lar and myofascial pain and associated conditions. Myotherapi­sts use massage in their treatments but also use a wide range of other treatment approaches such as dry needling, thermo and electro-therapeuti­c techniques, corrective exercise prescripti­on, education about pain management, activity modificati­on and lifestyle modificati­on.

Myotherapy can treat a wide range of conditions including neck and shoulder pain; sports injuries; headaches and migraines; TMJ dysfunctio­n; tennis elbow; sciatica and hip pain; frozen shoulder; carpal tunnel syndrome; chronic back pain; restricted movement and inflexibil­ity; foot and ankle pain; and postural conditions.

Welcome Mikaela!

Mikaela is an accredited exercise physiologi­st and sports scientist. Throughout her degree, Mikaela gained extensive experience in orthopaedi­c surgery and cardiopulm­onary rehabilita­tion. Mikaela also worked with clients suffering chronic pain, cancer and diabetes. She strongly believes in designing exercise programs that are tailored to the client’s goals and interests. She enjoys using different modes of exercise, such as hydrothera­py. Mikaela is always interested in furthering her knowledge and has recently gained her Matwork Pilates instructio­n qualificat­ion.

She is also studying ante/ post natal pilates.

Mikaela dreams of completing further research through a masters degree in the area of cardiopulm­onary exercise rehabilita­tion.

Originally from a farm in the Warracknab­eal area, Mikaela is extremely happy to be living and working locally.

She is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of her clients and looks forward to working with the community.
