Dream into award-winning reality

-

Owning your own home is the great Australian dream – particularly if you design it from scratch.

Horsham couple Rohan and Michelle Brown turned a dream into reality by teaming with Justin and Jo Lane from Lane Building Contractors.

The result was so impressive it won the Lanes a 2017 Master Builders Award.

The Master Builders Association of Victoria’s Regional Building Awards showcases the outstanding craftsmanship and professional standards of association members.

The awards demonstrate the commitment to building excellence in residential and commercial sectors throughout regional Victoria.

Lane Building Contractors won the Best Custom Home category for its Haven project.

The spacious and luxurious home was designed to adapt to the changing needs of the Brown family, ensuring its longevity.

Traditionally a home is the single biggest investment a person will make, so it is important to get it right.

A vital step is finding a builder who is right for you.

Justin Lane is an experienced and decorated builder with more than 25 years’ experience who has been creating custom homes for more than 12 years.

This year’s Master Builders Award is Justin’s third.

Lane Building Contractors has a reputation for quality construction and design, value for money, innovation and strong working relationships.

Mrs Brown said she and her husband had built previously and knew what they wanted from the process.

She said when it came to finding a partner to deal with, Justin was an easy choice.

“He is very particular, we trusted his advice and workmanship,” she said. “Because his standards are so high, he wants to know you are going to love your home when he is finished with it.”

Justin said Lane Building Contractors had a strong focus on quality workmanship.

“After many years in the industry we have chosen a team of subcontractors to work with, who are known for their high-quality workmanship and attention to detail,” he said.

“Quality workmanship and a strong team ethic continues to be a priority of our business and a key to our success.”

Mrs Brown said Lane Building Contractors was a joy to deal with.

“Justin made the process so smooth,” she said.

“He thinks ahead and communicates effectively, meaning you have plenty of time to make decisions and get exactly what you want.” Mrs Brown said she loved the result. So, would she do it again? “Yes, I would love to work with Lane Building Contractors again,” she said.

“But I don’t want to leave my beautiful home!”
