Fifth annual ‘Loop the Greens’ sets bigger challenges

-

Organisers of West Wimmera Health Service’s fifth consecutive ‘Loop the Greens’ event believe this year’s program will be bigger and better than ever.

The program promises a range of new obstacles, more mud, colour and water on the popular Mudarama course, a bungy pull and a new challenge event.

Lionel Godwin from Horsham’s Up Tempo Café and On Track Eating will have his hair coloured if he reaches $500 in donations towards the health service.

Mr Godwin will also complete a strong man challenge of a tractor tyre roll, sled push and car pull if he can raise $1000.

People can help Mr Godwin with his endeavours by donating online at wwhsloopthegreens-funrun.eventbrite. com.au. The event will also feature the traditional three, six and nine-kilometre walk-run courses.

Emma Dickinson will provide a pre warm-up for participants, while West Wimmera Health Service Allied Health team members will offer free blood pressure checks, answer health questions and provide about available services.

Families can enjoy a host of activities, including mini golf, longest drive, bungy pull, jumping castle and face-painting, along with a Nhill Golf Club lunch, Café de Kerb coffee van and Up Tempo Café healthy treats.

Businesses can support the event by sponsoring an obstacle on the course. information
