Neoen Grampians Pyrenees Business Awards at St Arnaud provided a snapshot of business success and innovation across much of the region.
Business and sponsors representatives and community and development leaders packed into St Arnaud Town Hall on Friday night for a sell-out gala presentation.
Leading businesses from across Northern Grampians, Ararat and Pyrenees municipalities were in the running for a variety of awards with Stawell’s Action Steel Industries winning Neoen Business of the Year.
Emma Elsom from radio stations 3WM and MIXX FM compered the evening, hosted by Northern Grampians Shire Council, which also featured an address from regional Australian advocate and businesswoman Kerry Anderson and musical entertainment. Winners: Goldacres Best Community Event, Avoca Arts and Gardens; Skillinvest Apprentice-trainee of the Year, Alyssa Heard, Chalambar Golf and Bowls Club; Federation University Australia Business School Best New Business, Pyrenees Premium Cuts; The Weekly Advertiser Excellence in Agriculture-viticulture, Sub Rosa Wines; 3WM-MIXX FM Best Tourism Attraction or Service, Halls Gap Lakeside Tourist Park.
