Nhill: 10am, blessing and dedication of new war memorial commemorating those who served in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, East Timor and other conflicts; 10.30am, morning tea hosted by Hindmarsh Shire and Nhill Rotary Club; 11am, Remembrance Day service. Horsham Rural City Horsham: 10.45am, memorial service at Sawyer Park cenotaph, Memorial Drive; 5pm, bagpipers will play a lament at the exact moment the Armistice was signed; 7.45pm, Anzac Centenary Bridge, Barnes Boulevard, one-off service to mark the 100th anniversary of the Armistice and highlight the significance of the ‘With the going down of the sun’ portion of the League Ode.

West Wimmera Apsley: 10.45am, service at war memorial, Splatt Street, led by Langkoop-apsley RSL sub-branch president Robert Carberry; after the ceremony there will be a function at the Border Inn Hotel for anyone wishing to attend. Edenhope: 10.45am, assemble at cenotaph, corner of Elizabeth Street and Anzac Avenue, for a service. Harrow: 10.45, short service at RSL clubrooms, Blair Street. Kaniva: 10.45am, short service at Kaniva cenotaph, Progress Street; after the service, official unveiling of original First World War honour board and morning tea at Kaniva Shire Hall, 15 Baker Street.
