It’s hard to say exactly how much work has gone into Project Swarm in the past four weeks; sufce it to say that it is somewhere in the region of “A lot” and “My brain hurts – send help”. Arches have been fared from the inside out – bolton fares being a bit too easy for Ralph and Brad – aping Mitsubishi concept cars. Floors have been pared back and rewelded. The wonderful – and substantial – external roll cage by Protection and Performance Ltd has been delivered and painted by Dave, and even that’s not quite as simple as it looks, because Dave The Paint has mixed a little silver fake in with the pearl to give it a silver-blue sheen in direct light. There’s been new suspension from SuperPro shipped all the way from Australia which needed slight modifcation. And that’s not even the half of it. More pics to reveal next month!
