Nicest smell?

Russell: Well, babies. A baby’s head. Not their back-ends. But at my place in Australia, at night-time, we have Evening Jasmine. Right across the front of the house, just as the sun’s going down, it’s a really powerful perfume. So I love that. I love the smell of horses...

Ryan: Baby’s heads? God, that’s bizarre. What’s the nicest smell in the world? I think when you realise that it’s just your toast burning, and you’re not having a seizure.

Nicest place?

Russell: For me, it’s where I have my farm. That’s the most comfortable place in the world.

Ryan: Home was what I was going to say. Canada might be technically the nicest place in the world. It’s the most… nice people, very polite. Maybe I’ll say that. We’re not saying the happiest, right? We’re just saying the nicest.

Nicest drink?

Russell: Currently I’m drinking, in a tall glass with lots of ice, Beluga Gold Line vodka. So two ounces of vodka, two ounces of freshly squeezed pineapple juice, and then two ounces of water. You just mix it together. The water takes the sharpness out of the pineapple juice and just softens it up a little bit. It also helps you with the hangover, the day before. Yes, it’s my own [ recipe]. I’m constantly coming up with a new cocktail, once or twice a year.

Ryan: I think a Shirley Temple is a nice drink. It’s not a great drink. I don’t even enjoy it, but it seems very nice.

Nicest food?

Russell: I’m a very big Asian food fan. Japan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Malaysian, Singaporean, Indonesian. You grow up eating that food all the time in Australia. You have that in your palette. My favourite restaurant in the world though, actually, is China Tang in the Dorchester. I just love that restaurant. I like the fact that when you go to the bathroom, Dylan Thomas is reading poetry for you.

Ryan: I guess kale. Kale feels nice, doesn’t it? It’s the nicest to your body.

TF: We think you’re confusing virtuous with nice. If you weren’t being good to your body, just eating something nice. Like a cronut...

Ryan: I’ve never had a cronut. Can we get a couple of cronuts up here? Couple of kale cronuts, please. JC
