Total Film - - Dialogue -

Iremember seeing It at a far too young age and being suitably terrified. One of the reasons Pennywise was a fantastic big bad is because Tim Curry appeared for the most part as a regular-looking clown. The type that children would interact with. The new trailer goes all out for scares, completely missing the terror of the original. Surely I can’t be the only one to think this? Is it time to stop the endless remakes in favour of something original?

I’ve very excited about the forthcoming It film. Very, very excited. The anticipation is building on a daily basis thanks to the various It- dedicated social-media groups that have been set up by like-minded It fanatics. It has been a long time since I’ve looked forward to a film this much, and with the help of the many meme-loving, book-quoting and clown-fearing fans posting all sorts of in-depth questions and topics on pretty much an hourly basis, the wait until release day is still torture, but made much more enjoyable by sharing the anticipation with others! BEN CROOKS, VIA EMAIL We’re more at the excited/bricking it end of the spectrum. Although still ringing round the cinema chains, trying to find one that’ll allow us to bring our sofa to cower behind.
