Writer-director Kathleen Hepburn expands her award-winning short in her debut feature. Shirley Henderson plays Judy, a mother with advanced Parkinson’s forced to turn more independent after the sudden death of her husband. Meanwhile, her son Jamie (Théodore Pellerin) has issues with his own identity, fleshing out a careful, considerate portrayal of grief and fortitude.
