Heroes reborn

in a 1996 comic entitled Heroes Reborn, the Avengers appear to sacrifice themselves by running into a baddie’s energy field, seemingly disintegrating on impact. But! it’s revealed that they actually vanished into a pocket universe contained within a blue orb. Phew. could our movie Avengers have enjoyed a similar not-dead fate?

avengers: Forever

This 1998 limited series saw Avengers from various timelines – captain America, hawkeye, the wasp and captain marvel – unite against immortus, a baddie who has the Forever crystal, which can control numerous different realities. could this nifty artefact be the key to stopping Thanos in the movies by undoing everything he’s done?

Civil War

could it be possible that some of the Avengers really won’t survive the next movie? while it didn’t look great for Tony (stabbed through the abdomen, lest we forget), it’s entirely possible that captain America will cark it in Avengers 4. in Civil War (Captain America #25), steve is assassinated – could he end up sacrificing himself in Avengers 4 to return his super-friends?

Warlock and the infinity Watch

This comic book was launched after the Infinity Gauntlet series ended, and saw the creation of the infinity watch, a group who guarded the stones – that team included warlock, Gamora and drax. while Gamora appears to be out of action in the mcu, could she make a comeback and help form a new team of Guardians?
