STAR LETTER

-

I feel compelled to write about a major health and safety issue that movie studios need to address. And yes, numerous stars have already drawn it to their attention, including most recently Tom Hardy. But they never appear to stop the problem of poor housekeeping in their editing suites and the lack of bin provision… in particular the continual issue with large amounts of film on the cuttingroom floor. And what’s worse, it’s said to be the best bits! JACKY H, ADDINGHAM Presumably you’re referring to Hardy’s comments on Venom’s ‘missing’ scenes, which he later clarified were in reference to playful improv footage that would have bumped the running time up to seven hours. Which Dialogue for one would gladly sit through, so long as they ditch those cringey bits where Tom reads from his reporter’s notebook like he’s asking for directions in a foreign country. Of course, proper journos stencil their questions inside their eyelids – a tip we picked up from The Beano. Jacky and everyone with a letter printed here will receive a copy of Skyscraper, available on Blu-ray and DVD on 19 November via Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. Didn’t send an address? Email it! Or shin up TF Towers (climbing permits available for top floor only).
